The most popular game on the show floor (outside of the Nintendo booth) is without a doubt Marvel vs Capcom 3. I had a chance to go a few rounds and I loved every second. Sure, part of it is nostalgia, remembering the countless hours (and coins) spent at the arcade playing X-men vs streefighter, and later on the original Marvel vs Capcom. This is an update of the second game, which I never spent quality time on. It's basically Street Fighter 4 graphics, with old-school MvC gameplay. There were no big surprise playable characters, basically every player on the poster was playable including Iron Man, Captain America, Spiderman, Morrigan, Ryu, Dante, Chris, and a few outhers. The only surprise was the slightly extended trailer. It actually reveals the villain. I won't spoil it, but it's an interesting choice, for sure.
